Iron Mountain

Named after an old cider mill that Jack Sr. and Steve Sr. used to bring their cull fruit to in the days before pick-your-own began. This cider is produced from six select heirloom varieties of apples, including Rhode Island Greening, Gold Rush, and Granny Smith. It makes for a very well-rounded cider.

Across the Pond

Across the pond is a very dry cider. Produced with 50% english bittersweet apple varieties Brown Snout and Dabinett. 50% is Ida Red, Braeburn, Gold Rush, and Pink Lady all sharp varieties grown here on our farm. It is bold, astringent, and medium bodied with a deeper golden hue due to the tannins and polyphenols from the skins of the english varieties. Hints of apple and dried fruit on the back end. 

ASHMEADS KERNEL

A golden straw colored cider with light carbonation. Aromatics of cherry and turmeric up front, compounded by a slight minerality and spice.

NEWTOWN PIPPIN

A new single varietal cider made with all Newtown Pippin apples. This cider is fermented to dry and has a tart, green apple taste.

Big Red

12 oz. - $7 | 7.0%

Made from only red apples including ida red, red delicious and Empire. Crisp apple taste and finishes with a hint of cherry. It even has a slight red tint to really stand out!

GINGER BEET

16 oz. - $7 | 6.6%

A blend of dessert apples fermented to dry and back flavored with juiced beets and hand crushed ginger.

SWEET CIDERS

Honey hopped

This cider is hopped with three varieties (Centennial, Cascade, Brewer's Gold) of Pennings own and Mt. Hood hops, and back sweetened with local honey from Sweet Things & Wild Thyme beehives located within Pennings Orchard. The addition of honey and hops creates a clear and golden hue with a dry floral finish

MAPLE VANILLA

Maple Vanilla is fermented to dry and smoothed out with a beautifully balanced hint of local Finding Home Farms maple syrup and vanilla.

BLACK CURRANT

New York State grown black currants added in give this apple cider a little touch of sweet and light berry flavor
